About the MLC

A combination classroom, library and study space in the heart of campus, the MLC is a unique academic hub. Gather here for class, group study, a meeting, research help, or to cozy up in a corner and study with a cup of coffee.

Group Study Rooms

The MLC offers 96 group study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis.

Classrooms

The MLC contains 26 general classrooms that range from 24 to 280 seats.

Digital Media Lab

The Digital Media Lab (DML) provides UGA students access to the latest in multimedia software and hardware for the creation and editing of digital media projects. There is also a recording booth in this space.

Presentation Practice Rooms

The presentation practice rooms have large monitors to allow you to connect your computer and display your presentation on the wall while you practice for a class presentation or job interview. These rooms are currently available on a drop-in basis.

Event Spaces

The Frank Daniel Foley, Jr. Rotunda, Jacqueline and John Head Terrace, North Tower, and Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room are conducive to hosting events. Reserve these spaces through the Miller Learning Center online request form or emailing Katherine Wilson at kswilson@uga.edu.

Food and Drink

Food and drink are available from Jittery Joe’s on the 2nd floor as well as the vending machines located near the elevators on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and on the West Wing of the 1st floor.
